What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
- We only look at your public channel. We never ask for your password or account access.
- We use your data to make your review and to improve how we review, and nothing else without your consent.
- We don't sell your data. Ever.

01Who we are
Asali is run by a sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic. We are the controller of your personal data. For anything about your data, write to hello@asali.app.

03YouTube API Services
Asali uses YouTube API Services to read public information about channels. By using Asali you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We collect only public data:
- from your channel page: its name, handle, description, banner, links, and subscriber and video counts;
- for your latest videos and Shorts, plus your all-time best: titles, thumbnails, descriptions, durations, publish dates and public view, like and comment counts.
We never get access to your YouTube account, your password or your YouTube Studio data.
We store data from YouTube API Services for no more than 30 days, then delete it. Your review keeps our written advice. If we later offer Studio insights with your permission, you'll be able to remove our access at any time in your Google security settings, and we'll delete that data within 7 days of your request.
04How we use AI
Today a person on the Asali team writes and checks your review, and none of your data goes to an AI service. When AI starts drafting reviews, we will name the service in the list below before it reads anything of yours, and a person will still read every line, remove what doesn't fit and add what the AI missed before anything reaches you. No decision with legal or similar effects on you is made automatically.
06Transfers outside the EU
Some of these services are based in the USA. We use them under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
07Publishing reviews
Your review stays private. We don't publish reviews, channel names or client words, and we don't use your channel in our videos or case studies. The only exception is if you give us separate written consent for something specific. If you agree to a case study or a quote, you can withdraw that consent later and we'll take it down.
09Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent. Write to hello@asali.app; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
10Age
Asali is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
11Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we'll tell you by email first.
